Kiristan Leftwich
Administrative  Director 

Kiristan Leftwich has been the Director of Bethany Inc. since January 4, 2019.  Her goal matches Bethany's mission of providing homeless families with a safe, clean and uplifting environment.  

She is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day administration and management, assisting with accounting and grant writing. Kiristan graduated from University of Maryland University College as a Presidential member of the National Association of Leadership and Success with a Bachelor’s of Science in Business Management and currently pursuing her Master’s in Business Administration. She was a Council member for the Town of Fairmount Heights, Maryland from 2010-2012 and took part in many contributory measures that shaped the historic town.


Kiristan has worked in the DC metro area for over 20 years. She was the former Office Manager in the Child Welfare Unit at Family Matters of Greater Washington for 8 years in which she won several awards for her performance and outstanding efforts during her tenure. 

She joins Bethany with a high level of business knowledge, management experience and a background in the non-profit sector.  

Kenyard Holland  
Maintenance Engineer

Kenyard Holland has been working as the Maintenance Engineer at Bethany's Good Hope House location for close to two years. He enjoys the challenge of maintaining the building and providing the tenants of Good Hope House the satisfaction of knowing that they will reside in a clean and well-kept building. Kip has been a DC resident for eight years. He currently resides in the Woodridge area of Northeast Washington, DC. One way he gives back to his community is by being involved in youth sports in Washington, DC. 


He believes this role helps him make a positive impact on young people by providing them sound guidance to navigate through life's hurdles.  Kip is currently coaching a 9-10 year old Little League team, based out of North Michigan Park Recreation Center. Previous to working at Bethany, Inc. some of the positions he held were Teachers Assistant, Facilities Coordinator, Payroll Clerk, Office Assistant, Document Flow Analyst and Mail Room Clerk.
